The Hastings United Sports & Social Club

Hastings United Sports & Social Club is situated in Elphinstone Road and is only 500 yards from The Ridge. We are easily accessible from Bexhill, Rye and surrounding areas.

Following the completion of the refurbishment of the premises off Elphinstone Road (formally occupied by the Elphinstone Sports and Social Club) we will reopen as the Hastings United Sports & Social Club 1st April 2017.

The premises which formally housed a Members Club will now operate under a Premises Licence and will therefore be open to all.

With a large bar and function area (with a capacity for up to 200 people) the club is able to provide space for your social, entertainment, sporting events, charity events and corporate events. The facilities also include a balcony, squash court, meeting room and additional outdoor space (beer garden with seating).

Private Functions

Are you looking for a venue for your private function? We have an adaptable space for a variety of events.

Facilities include; free parking, CCTV throughout, WIFI facilities, TV screens providing Sky Sports and BT Sports and a large projector screen.

We have a resident DJ, Catering ( or you may outsource your own ), a fully staffed bar and a stair lift for those who are less able.

The ideal venue for your wedding reception, anniversary, birthday party and wake, or any other event you are looking to host.

Hire rates are available upon request.

Corporate Entertainment

The main function room can be used to host large corporate events and projector screens, TV’s and WIFI are all available for your use.

We also have a meeting room available to hire for private meetings. We can also provide catering, teas and coffees.

The Bar

Enjoy a refreshing drink in our well stocked and comfortable bar. 

Long man's best bitter is our speciality, we also serve a wide range of beers in draught alongside bottle beers, ales,  rose wine, white wine, red whine, prosecco and a wide range of spirits.
